DelDot with the assistance of Delaware's Office of Information Services (OIS), LAN/WAN Systems Group,has been actively adding cameras along the I-95 and Route 1 corridors since 1999. These cameras are being added using ISDN or, as fiber is available, ATM connections. GTS Server Software and Patch Panel Interface is being used to capture and rebroadcast this video to Traffic Management Center (TMC) and to the public with a GTS Proxy server. The TMC is using to live video feeds to watch for traffic congestion and take immediate action to solve any problems. Since 2003, DelDot personnel have assumed full operation of the network and it's operation.
